Deposit / Withdraw
Every deposit or withdrawal instantly updates the account's Capital and writes a new row to the Transactions sheet.
Growth & Compliance
Interest & Penalty
Interest is simple interest: Capital × rate% × (days since last credit ÷ 365). Applying it credits the account and moves its "Last Interest Date" forward.
Disburse
New Loan
Flat-rate interest: Total Payable = Principal + Principal × rate% × (tenure ÷ 12). EMI = Total Payable ÷ tenure. Disbursed amount is credited straight into the account's Capital.

Passbook Printing
Prints only the entries an account hasn't had printed into its physical passbook yet, oldest first — exactly like a real bank passbook. After printing, confirm it came out correctly and those rows get marked Printed so next time only new entries print.
Printer Calibration
Line Height 4.23mm ≈ 6 lines per inch, the PLQ-30's default passbook pitch. Adjust and re-run "Test Alignment" until each printed line lands on the passbook's ruled line.
Prints numbered ruler lines — no data touched.

Windows setup once: install the Epson PLQ-30 driver, load a passbook, then in the print dialog choose PLQ-30 as the printer, set paper size to match the width above, scale to 100%, and turn off any "headers/footers" option. Use the printer's own paper-feed knob (or its front-panel passbook mode) to align the first ruled line before printing.
